I've just bought the kids a mini net book It is tiny really about half the size of my laptop but it has wireless network capabilities and you can attach it to a monitor and an external hard drive etc etc and the kids should be able to share it . So when we get the big computer fixed- it is in the process of being done, there will be one for each of us.
Thanks Mr Rudd for the bonus. I'm doing my bit to stimulate the economy (although I only used $500 for the netbook - the rest will go on bills!)

Hope that eases the technological burden a little... Sounds like it's been pretty busy over there as it has with me. Hopefully it will calm down a bit more soon - for both of us!
We just bought two new computers in the last few months -one for family use and a laptop for Mum to use. So we now have three computers in the house, which should have been the end of all our squabbles but Mr Sunshine is going to have a friend staying with him for a few months, so chances are we'll be fighting again before too long...
